Right, having trawled the internet for you, here is a variety of techniques to rid that nasty oil or grease stain from your concrete or paved driveway.
Number 1: Kitty Litter. That's right. If it can soak up your cat's pee, it can take on an oil stain too. Pile it up on the oil stain, rub it in with your foot, sweep and repeat. It won't do the entire job, but it will set you on your way to a stain free driveway.
Number 2: The environmentally friendly version - Peat Moss. Rub it in, soak it up and repeat. Much the same as the kitty litter method, but the moss won't soak up as much.
Number 3: The Pepsi challenge. Pour, scrub, repeat. I imagine any cola will do, pick your favourite brand and give it a go. If you're on a budget, pop down to Aldi,
Number 4: Soap. As strong as you can find it. Remember in school? The soap and oil separate in the container. Same principle here. You'll require bit of elbow grease too though or those pieces of oil artwork will never vanish.
Of course, all of these methods require time and energy...with an emphasis on the energy part. I'm not kidding, your right arm's going to ache for some time.
If you're a staunch D.I.Y.er, here's the link you'll need. It's the product we recommend and use ourselves, but in the event that after buying the oil remover and renting/using the pressure washer, you haven't gotten the desired results; just give us a call. We'll be more than happy to set one of our strapping lads to the task.
